Rancho San Antonio Boys Home

Rancho San Antonio Boys Home, located in Chatsworth, California, provides a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) specifically designed for court-referred male youth aged 13 to 18, as well as non-dependent minors. This trauma-informed initiative focuses on addressing behaviors and life patterns that have led to their placement outside the home, fostering emotional healing and growth within a nurturing community environment.

Utilizing the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) trauma-informed model, the STRTP offers a comprehensive array of services. These include specialty mental health services like individual, family, and group therapy; substance use disorder treatment (including drug addiction); case management; and life skills training. Additionally, clients benefit from creative healing arts interventions, recreational and athletic programming, educational services, tutoring, and Neurofeedback to support holistic development.

Rancho San Antonio is committed to equity-focused care, emphasizing the development of self-regulation, improved family connections, and the acquisition of essential life skills. Unique programs such as the Young Fathers Program, along with job and career resource development and mentoring support, are offered to prepare youth for a successful future. The program also provides vital aftercare community-based mental health services for up to one year post-discharge, instilling hope and fostering resilience.
