MAAC Project Nosotros

MAAC Project Nosotros is a distinguished men-only residential program situated in Chula Vista, California. As an integral part of MAAC Project, a community-focused nonprofit with roots tracing back to 1965, Nosotros extends its vital services to individuals and families across the San Diego area. The program is specifically designed for Medi-Cal recipients, providing a structured, supportive environment for men navigating addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Central to Nosotros's approach is a commitment to evidence-based therapies delivered within a therapeutic community framework. Clients engage in a range of modalities, including 1-on-1 counseling, meditation & mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), psychoeducation, and solution-focused, goal-oriented therapy. This comprehensive therapeutic model is geared towards addressing the complexities of drug addiction and co-occurring conditions, fostering deep personal growth and healing. Beyond clinical interventions, the program emphasizes holistic recovery through extensive life skills training, relapse prevention counseling, and crucial employment readiness services. Recognizing the diverse needs of its community, MAAC Project Nosotros proudly offers services in both English and Spanish and facilitates referrals to essential community resources such as financial aid, 12-Step meetings, and affordable housing. The minimum program commitment is three months, ensuring sufficient time for profound transformation.
