North County Serenity House Women's, part of the extensive HealthRIGHT 360 network, provides comprehensive treatment services for women struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in Escondido, California. This vital program offers residential care for up to 120 women, predominantly serving the northern San Diego County area. Their unique, trauma-informed approach includes a monitored detox and evidence-based interventions tailored to women's specific needs. The residential program integrates therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). A cornerstone of their compassionate care is the ability for up to 20 children under the age of five to stay with their mothers, supporting family reunification and reducing barriers to treatment for women with young children. This focus on family well-being underscores their commitment to holistic recovery. Beyond residential care, Serenity Village offers eight transitional living houses, also accommodating children up to age five. Each house provides a supportive, structured environment with peer support, community kitchens, and living areas. Clients can reside for up to two years, receiving encouragement for community reintegration and mandatory self-sufficiency classes. Rent is offered on a sliding scale based on family household income, ensuring accessibility and fostering long-term independence and positive community impact for women and their children.
