The Core In-Residence Program at Solara is a 24-hour monitored experience, typically spanning 4-12+ weeks, integrating advanced and evidence-based therapies. These include TransCranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Relational Therapy. We also embrace a variety of holistic therapies to support overall well-being, such as acupuncture, meditation and mindfulness, yoga, and horticulture therapy, alongside Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Twelve Step Facilitation.

A typical day at Solara involves multiple intensive therapy sessions, individual meetings with a psychiatrist and nurse, and engaging experiential activities, balanced with ample time for decompressing. Weekends offer the unique opportunity to explore San Diego's famous local surroundings through longer outings and activities, integrating therapy with real-world experiences.
