Hope Academy, situated near the University of Indianapolis, stands as Indiana's sole accredited recovery high school, providing a tuition-free public charter education for grades 9-12. This unique institution offers a safe, sober, and exceptionally supportive environment specifically designed for teenagers aged 14-18 who are navigating substance use concerns. With a dual focus on rigorous academics and personal recovery, Hope Academy is committed to fostering both educational and life success for its students, providing free transportation throughout Indianapolis and surrounding areas to ensure accessibility.

The academy integrates a comprehensive support system directly into its curriculum, ensuring students receive continuous resources to maintain sobriety while excelling in their studies. Students actively participate in two 12-Step meetings each week, engage regularly with dedicated recovery coaches, and utilize vital recovery tools such as '90-in-90' journals. Beyond the school day, Hope Academy offers a variety of sober after-school activities, cultivating a healthy social environment and reinforcing positive lifestyle choices essential for long-term recovery. These initiatives build a strong foundation for sobriety, addressing alcohol and drug addiction with a Twelve Step philosophy.

With an impressive average class size of just seven students, Hope Academy provides personalized attention that encourages academic growth and builds a close-knit, supportive community. Students are challenged with a rigorous Core 40 or Academic Honors curriculum, preparing them for higher education and future careers.
