ARC Karen's Place Maternity Center in Ashland, Kentucky, is a unique, CARF-accredited detox and residential facility specifically for pregnant and postpartum women. Located on the King's Daughters Medical Center campus, it offers a Christian-centered, holistic program to treat substance use disorders, including Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Methamphetamine, alongside co-occurring conditions like Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma. A distinctive feature is the ability for mothers to reside with their babies during treatment, fostering early bonding and family health.

The center provides comprehensive clinical care, beginning with medical stabilization and detox, with Medication-Assisted Therapy available as needed. Therapeutic approaches include 1-on-1 Counseling, Trauma-Specific Therapy, Psychoeducation, and Stress Management. Spiritual Care and Twelve Step Facilitation reinforce the Christian ethos, complemented by vital Life Skills training and Relapse Prevention Counseling to equip women for sustained sobriety.

Karen's Place Maternity Center extends its commitment to recovery through practical life skills development, vocational training opportunities, and specialized neonatal care skills.
