Zack’s House

Zack's House in Lowell, Massachusetts, provides vital transitional housing for young men aged 18-35 who are committed to overcoming substance use. This program is specifically designed to bridge the crucial gap between residential recovery and independent living, offering a structured yet supportive community environment. Participants, having completed detox and maintained 3-6 months of recovery, find a safe space to solidify their sobriety and develop essential life skills for a thriving future.

The program's unique approach centers on individualized, trauma-informed care facilitated by dedicated recovery coaches. Clients receive 1-on-1 Counseling and participate in weekly house meetings, fostering peer support and accountability. A cornerstone of the curriculum includes comprehensive Life Skills training and Relapse Prevention Counseling, empowering young men to formulate robust action plans and navigate the challenges of long-term sobriety. Case management and clinical consultation are also provided as needed.

Named in memory of Zachary Gys, Zack's House, as part of the non-profit Lowell House Incorporated, is deeply rooted in community impact. It strives to honor Zachary's legacy by offering an accessible and affordable path to recovery, with monthly rates for both double and single rooms. By focusing on critical support and skill development, Zack's House empowers young adults specializing in Alcohol and Drug Addiction to build stable, independent, and substance-free lives.
