First Dawn Recovery Oklahoma City is a specialized outpatient treatment center uniquely dedicated to serving veterans, active duty service members, National Guard, and Reserves. Located in Oklahoma City, this facility provides expert care for substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), recognizing the profound link between these challenges within the military community. Our mission is to deliver comprehensive, compassionate, and trauma-informed treatment tailored to the distinct experiences of those who have served.

Our comprehensive treatment approach integrates a wide range of evidence-based and holistic therapies. Key modalities include Trauma-Specific Therapy, Eye Movement Therapy (EMDR), and Somatic Experiencing, proven effective for processing trauma. Clients also benefit from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Hypnotherapy, and Art/Music/Recreation Therapy for holistic healing. Veteran peer support is a cornerstone of our program, fostering camaraderie and shared understanding. We also incorporate Twelve Step Facilitation and Life Skills training to support long-term recovery and reintegration.
