Mending Hearts

Mending Hearts, founded in 2004 in Nashville, Tennessee, is a residential treatment program specifically designed for women at risk of homelessness who are struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. This organization is deeply committed to fostering a therapeutic community that promotes healing and recovery for all women, irrespective of their financial situation. The center offers a holistic approach to treatment, including medical detox and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for managing withdrawals. Clients undergo thorough screening for co-occurring disorders to ensure individualized and essential care for sustained recovery. Treatment services encompass 1-on-1 Counseling, Trauma-Specific Therapy, Family Therapy, Life Skills development, Relapse Prevention Counseling, and Twelve Step Facilitation, delivered through both individual and group sessions.

Beyond residential care, Mending Hearts provides a full continuum of support, including community living, independent living, Day Treatment (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), ensuring ongoing assistance post-discharge.
