Solstice West is a leading residential treatment center in Layton, Utah, dedicated to empowering adolescent girls aged 14-18 struggling with trauma, loss, and co-occurring disorders. Nestled in the picturesque Wasatch Mountains, the center provides a safe, nurturing environment where healing and personal growth are prioritized. Solstice West's unique approach integrates comprehensive clinical treatment with a strong emphasis on family involvement, academic success, and a holistic focus on physical and mental well-being.

The therapeutic model at Solstice West is highly specialized and evidence-based, designed to address the complex needs of its residents. Girls engage in a wide range of therapies including 1-on-1 Counseling, Adventure Therapy, Art Therapy, Couples Counseling, Equine Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additional modalities such as EMDR, DBT, Somatic Experiencing, and Brainspotting are also utilized to facilitate deep emotional processing and healing. The program ensures a balanced routine, combining intensive therapy with academic learning, physical fitness, and mindful activities.

Beyond the clinical setting, Solstice West fosters personal development through unique adventure-based programming and community engagement. Students participate in enriching overnight excursions, including mountain biking in Moab, hiking in Zion National Park, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and canoeing in the Uinta Mountains.
