Sobrius, nestled in the serene countryside of Galax, Virginia, offers an intensive residential treatment program distinguished by its unique cohort model of care. This innovative approach welcomes 10 to 16 residents simultaneously into gender-specific housing, ensuring clients begin and complete their 30-day program as a unified group. The facility specializes in treating substance use disorders alongside co-occurring conditions such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Therapeutic modalities include personalized 1-on-1 Counseling, Meditation & Mindfulness, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, and specialized Trauma-Specific Therapy, ensuring comprehensive psychological and emotional support.

Beyond individual and group sessions, the program integrates essential Life Skills, Relapse Prevention Counseling, Spiritual Care, and Twelve Step Facilitation, equipping clients with practical tools for sustained sobriety.
