Amanda’s House

Amanda's House, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a profoundly supportive sober living program for women and their children, born from a mother's dedication after losing her daughter to an opioid overdose. Founded by Jolly, who carried on the vision she shared with her daughter, Amanda, the facility offers a safe and nurturing environment for women embarking on their recovery journey, ensuring that families can stay together during this critical period.
This unique residence provides space for up to 10 women and 3 children, creating a close-knit community. While residing at Amanda's House, women are empowered to attend necessary external therapies and fulfill other obligations, knowing they have a supportive network. The program is designed for long-term recovery, allowing stays of up to two years, fostering stability and sustained progress towards independence. Residents are encouraged to work or volunteer at least 20 hours per week, promoting responsibility and integration into the wider community.
Internally, Amanda's House offers a wealth of resources including 12-Step recovery meetings, mindfulness sessions, and essential life skills classes. These programs, combined with the built-in community of other women, provide a robust framework for personal growth and sustained sobriety. The focus is on empowering women to build new, healthy lives while receiving the care and support needed to thrive alongside their children.
