Great Lakes Adult and Teen Challenge - Men's Center of Hope in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provides a transformative Christian Discipleship program specifically designed for men struggling with drug and alcohol addictions. This long-term, faith-based residential center offers a one-year commitment to healing, focusing comprehensively on spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. As a nonprofit organization, the center maintains very low fees, ensuring that permanent recovery is accessible to all. The program is structured into four progressive levels of care: Recovery, Renewal, Restoration, and Transition. The Recovery phase (14 weeks) focuses on recognizing destructive thoughts and developing coping skills. Renewal (12 weeks) delves into healing the underlying wounds of addiction. Restoration and Healing (12 weeks) helps men discover their purpose and build a substance-free future, while the Transition phase (12 weeks) equips them with practical skills for employment, housing, and community reintegration. Through dedicated Pastoral Counseling and a curriculum deeply rooted in Christian principles, residents receive robust spiritual support alongside essential social and educational training. The Men's Center of Hope is committed to helping individuals not only overcome alcohol and drug addiction but also develop the life skills necessary for sustainable sobriety and a fulfilling, impactful life post-treatment, fostering leaders who contribute positively to their communities.
