Our Space

Our Space, a dedicated non-profit organization in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is committed to empowering adults living with mental health challenges and substance use disorder. The organization provides a range of recovery-oriented, person-centered services within a safe and accepting environment, fostering an atmosphere where individuals can thrive and achieve their full potential. Central to Our Space's offerings are its key programs. The Drop-In Center serves as a voluntary day program, offering immediate support and opportunities for community engagement. Complementing this, Peer Support Services are led by Certified Peer Support Specialists who leverage their own lived experiences to authentically guide clients through their recovery journeys, fostering genuine connection and understanding. Further enhancing their comprehensive care, Our Space operates the Parachute House Peer-Run Respite, a unique short-term residential facility for individuals experiencing emotional distress or low-level mental health crises, providing a non-clinical, home-like setting staffed by peers. The Price Is Right Shoppe also assists with independent living by providing free clothing and household items. Through a blend of life skills training, motivational interviewing, and specialized recovery coaching, Our Space embodies a holistic approach to community integration and lasting recovery.
